FinanceWise.com started to expand in 2021 after serving the Dutch market for over a few years with financial comparisons. If we could help thousands of people in The Netherlands we believed we also could help others in other parts of the world.
How it all started
One day we started setting up our online services from the attic room in the parental home. What started as a hobby quickly became a serious business. It turned out to be a huge success; we are still doing it with a lot of passion and energy years later. In the intervening years, our company has grown considerably and our services have improved.

How we work
In our work, we believe it is important to act and communicate honestly and transparently. We can do this because we are 100% independent of third parties. This way you can compare loans or investment funds with confidence and rely on a fair result in the search engine. You will also find honest advice in our blog.
International expansion
FinanceWise is the international ‘sister’ of Directgeld-lenen [Direct money lending]. The financial comparison website with which we started a number of years earlier in the Netherlands. In this way we have been able to provide a large number of people with financial information about savings, credit cards and loans. And since we still can’t get enough, we have now taken the step to also offer our services abroad.
